Transportation Planner
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation, Review and Analysis of Traffic Impact Studies, Transportation Planning Studies, Traffic Signal Warrant Analysis and Conceptual Plans
- Utilize HCM (Highway Capacity Manual) Analysis, CLV (Critical Lane Volume) Analysis and SIDRA Analysis for Traffic Impact Studies
- Perform field duties outside of the office including Field Verifications and Observations
- Coordinate with project members and clients in order to meet project deadlines
- Preparation of technical documents and reports
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning or a related field (preferred)
- PTP Certification (preferred)
- Possess a driver's license valid in Maryland with access to a vehicle which may be used on the job
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Experience with Microsoft 365
Pay Rate: $50,000 - $65,000/year

Job Title: Senior Transportation Planner

Job Responsibilities:
- Project Manager Role overseeing the Review and Analysis of Traffic Impact Studies and Transportation Planning Studies
- Edit and/or Write Point by Point Response Letters to address Public Agency Traffic Impact Study Review Comments
- Provide Expert Witness Testimony
- Perform field duties outside of the office including Field Verifications and Observations
- Compose Project Fee Proposals for Clients and track Billing Status for Projects
- Attend Meetings and Coordinate with project members and clients in order to meet project deadlines in an organized manner
- Use existing knowledge of Agency Requirements and Criteria when Managing and Reviewing Projects
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning or a related field
- PTP Certification (preferred)
- 10 years of experience in transportation planning, with a focus in Traffic Impact Studies
- Possess a driver's license valid in Maryland with access to a vehicle which may be used on the job
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Experience with Microsoft 365
Pay Rate: $87,500 - $127,500/year
