- Ensure adequate Cargo Wise training & development offerings to all staff in the Traffic Tech Chicago and Long Beach Stations.
- Manage productivity, compliance and customer satisfaction standards based on company targets.
- Develop & drive key initiatives to support the international strategic vision.
- Play a key role in driving & supporting customer retention initiatives.
- Provide subject matter expertise for new business development.
- Enhance current air & ocean customer service metrics.
- Enhance current compliance standards and KPIs.
- Promote & maintain compliance with all international transportation regulations (FMC, IATA, CBP, Census, DG).
- Empower others to maximize their potential.
- Other duties and tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time by the company.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7 years of combined international Air-Ocean operations experience.
- Competent in FMC & U.S. Shipping Act regulations.
- Competent in TSA regulations.
- Competent is US Export Regulations.
- Competent in IMDG and IATA dangerous goods regulations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal leadership oversight.
- Ability to effectively interact with other employees of the organization.
- Excellent customer service, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in person and via phone.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and explain complex and abstract solutions issues and respond appropriately.
- Able to utilize sound, independent judgment and make responsible decisions and recommendations.
- Excellent follow-through and detail orientation.
- Able to effectively utilize computer programs including Cargo Wise, Word and Excel.

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday.
Traffic Tech has implemented preventative measures and safety precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all persons entering Traffic Tech facilities. For example, upon arrival masks are mandatory, employees are greeted by our in-house full-time health screeners, social distancing is maintained in all common areas (6ft/2m), hand sanitizer stations are strategically spaced out around the office, there is a restricted flow of traffic within the office to avoid interdepartmental spreads or outbreaks, and increased cleaning of all office spaces and warehouses.
