SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Athletics Supervisor, the Soccer Instructor will be responsible for developing players' technical skills, tactical awareness, and overall understanding of the game of soccer. As a Soccer Instructor, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for participants while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Instruct players on essential soccer techniques, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive strategies.
- Emphasize proper body mechanics, ball control, and decision-making on the field.
- Evaluate the skills and abilities of players to tailor coaching strategies to individual needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to players on areas for improvement and areas of strength.
- Communicate effectively with players, captains, and spectators, providing clear explanations of decisions and addressing any concerns professionally.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Clear understanding of the rules and regulations of soccer.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with players, parents, other instructors, and spectators.
- Quick decision-making skills to respond to situations promptly.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to demonstrate various soccer skills.
- Demonstrated agility to move quickly and change direction as needed.
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to transport and set up training equipment.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to teach soccer skills to children ages 3-10.
- 1 years' experience playing and/or coaching soccer.
- Available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
- Excellent communication skills.
Salary : $15 - $23
