Overview
We are seeking experienced Military Analysts to join our dynamic team supporting Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. All Warfighting Functions are encouraged to apply. The Military Analyst will leverage deep knowledge of military operations, doctrine, and strategic planning to provide critical insights, analysis, and recommendations that directly support defense contracting efforts and enhance military readiness and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of military operations, doctrine, strategic initiatives, and emerging policies to support DoD contract deliverables and force modernization efforts.
- Develop clear, comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations to convey complex military concepts to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Provide subject matter expertise on military tactics, joint operations, and DOTmLPF-P domains to identify capability gaps and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to interpret contract requirements and ensure alignment with DoD operational standards.
- Monitor global geopolitical developments and assess their implications for DoD operations and strategic planning.
- Monitor geopolitical events and military developments globally, assessing potential impacts on DoD operations and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Military Science, International Relations, Strategic Studies, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Active Secret clearance, previously held, or ability to receive favorable determination.
- Recent and relevant experience as a Military Analyst or in a similar role directly supporting DoD contracts, military operations, or joint commands.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. military organizational structures, joint operations, strategic doctrine, and defense acquisition processes.
- Military experience with expertise in doctrine, training, educational development, and doctrinal writing in compliance with military documentation standards.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality analytical reports, presentations, and briefings for senior-level audiences.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting complex military data, conducting risk assessments, and recommending innovative solutions.
- Ability to integrate, synchronize, and coordinate multiple capability areas across DOTmLPF-P domains.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with experience maintaining detailed records, SOPs, reports, and knowledge management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is preferred but not required.
