Training Technologies and Support, Inc. is interviewing for a Program Manager to oversee over 40 personnel in support of the Veteran's Affairs medical facilities in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Program Manager works directly for the TTS Director of Operations and provides supervision for 8 supervisors, 39 custodial technicians, and an office manager working in the Veteran Affairs facilities in Little Rock, Arkansas. To accomplish this, the Program Manager must work closely with both company and government co-workers as well as the Director of Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the completion of custodial services and work orders.
  • Implements and oversees appropriate sanitation procedures to ensure all requirements are efficiently addressed.
  • Ensures compliance with infection control protocols and proper cleaning methods.
  • Supervises a team of 39 housekeepers across 24/7 shifts, ensuring adequate coverage and performance.
  • Conducts routine inspections to ensure satisfactory job performance.
  • Provides training to staff on cleaning techniques, including burnishing, stripping, waxing, and grout cleaning for various types of non-carpeted flooring, vacuuming, spot cleaning, and steam cleaning of carpeted areas, and protocols for infection control, proper use of chemicals, cleaning methods, and hazardous waste handling.
  • Oversees the handling and disposal of hazardous and regulated medical waste, such as red buckets and sharp containers.
  • Performs minor maintenance tasks to maintain facility orderliness and cleanliness.
  • Ensures all equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Ensures all cleaning activities adhere to OSHA standards, infection prevention protocols, NFPS standards, EPA regulations, and ISO standards.
  • Assists in the day to day, as well as periodic weekly or monthly janitorial activities for office space, restrooms, and administrative areas based on specified performance and scheduling requirements
  • Provides input to the Director of Operations for reports and summaries as required
  • Maintains appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
  • Meets periodically with the Director of Operations to review the status of deliverables and to institute corrective measures for any deficiencies found.
  • Completes any other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current Certified Health Care Environmental Service Professional (CHESP) Certificate and be able to provide the certificate.
  • Must meet one of the following requirements: 1. Hold a bachelor's degree and possess three years of experience in environmental services in a health care setting with two of those being in a management or supervisory capacity. 2. An associate's degree and possess four years of experience in environmental services in a health care setting with three of those being in a management or supervisory capacity. 3. A high school diploma and five years of management or supervisory experience in a health care setting.
  • HIPPA certification, certification of bloodborne pathogens training, certification of training in cleaning product usage from OSHA
  • Must possess knowledge and experience infection control requirements, proper cleaning methods and custodial requirements, protocols for bloodborne pathogens, cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Must be able to gain access to federal government facilities
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility required to react to changes and frequent interruptions in a positive and productive manner.

*These positions are contingent upon contract award.
