Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…
As the Content Strategist for the global solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to become a valuable member of our marketing team, making a genuine, positive impact in the lives of our colleagues and customers.
Reporting to the Americas Marketing Manager, you will juggle the art of storytelling with a sprinkle of technical writing expertise to help bring our brand voice to life across all platforms. Your mission? To captivate, engage, and inform, while working with a team of brilliant PR and SEO pros and internal staff to create compelling content that makes our audience say “Wow, I didn’t know I needed that…but not I can’t live without it.”
What you will do…
- Craft captivating content by writing articles, blogs, case studies, ad copy, website content, and more. Every word you write will bring our solutions, culture, and vision to life
- Conduct research and analysis on target audience and industry trends to continuously innovate and improve content strategies
- Collaborate with our PR agency and internal teams to ensure our content is on-point, consistent, and strategically aligned with our goals
- Serve as the keeper of our digital presence, ensuring content updates from our website to our blog are fresh, relevant, and SEO-optimized
- Leverage various channels and tactics, such as social media, email marketing, and paid advertising to distribute content and engage target audiences
- Collaborate with the marketing team to help plan the editorial calendar and brainstorm new content ideas
- Attend conferences, workshops, and networking events to expand knowledge and skills in content strategy and related marketing areas
- Perform other marketing duties as assigned by the Americas Marketing Manager
What we expect of you…
- Natural talent for storytelling that makes technical concepts sound exciting. Comfortable translating technical language into insightful, easy to understand, content
- Passion for writing – you love the ability to write meaningful content that connects to, and makes an impact, on the reader
- College degree in marketing, communications, or journalism is preferred
- Proven experience using CRM tools specifically Salesforce, Monday.com, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor, etc
- Strong understanding of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at different levels within an organization.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities while managing multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment
- Ability to travel to company marketing events (10%-15% of the time)
Desirable skills…
- Experience working with external agencies and internal teams to create cohesive, high-quality content
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates your skill in both creative writing and technical topics (writing samples required when contacted)
- Fluent in Spanish and/or French highly desired

- Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 20lbs as needed
- Ability to sit and/or work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day
