Full Service Real Estate and Property Management Company located in Manhattan is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team!
QUALIFACTIONS:
- 3 years accounting experience
- Experience out of Real Estate or related industry a plus
- Strong computer//Excel/Word/Adobe skills
- Experience with Yardi software a plus
- FULLY IN OFFICE: 9am-5pm
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All Bank reconciliations - operating security deposits etc.
- Monthly mortgages processing
- Daily processing positive pay checks and ACH for banks
- Daily Cash Reports
- Monthly Escrow Cash Reports
- Opening all new bank accounts providing the necessary paperwork and information
- Processing of wires and transfers.
- Process 1099s & 1096s reports
- ADP Payroll processing
- Maintain employee records
- Maintain tenant security deposit records
- Real estate tax billing and reconciliation/true-up - Yardi Process
- Tenants operating expense and CPI calculations - Yardi Process
- Calculate monthly asset/construction/management fees- Yardi process
- Post accrual and depreciation entries
- Prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports
- Prepare and file utility sales/commercial rent taxes
- Prepare Tax Commission and RPIE filings
- Assist with year-end federal/state tax preparations
- Assist with annual budget process - Yardi process
- Reconcile partners equity account balances
- Review and analyze financial reports for accuracy
- Coordinate with external auditors
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
