Job Description
We are hiring a Service Center Coordinator to join our team in Branchburg, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources. You will coordinate the execution of agreement fulfillment in both an office and hands-on shop setting. This includes procuring the appropriate materials for work completion, inventory management, and shipping/receiving activities. Coordinating job priorities with the Area Service Manager will be an everyday occurrence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates service center resources, including ordering, shipping, and receiving of parts and materials.
- Interacts and communicates with Project Managers and Account Managers.
- Coordinates with Procurement Department to fulfill equipment needs.
- Generates work orders, reviews shipping and receiving paperwork, and inputs information into a warehouse management program to generate various reports.
- Works in the shop, as needed, to support operations.
- Operate power equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts to load and unload equipment and/or accessories from 32' to 53' trailers.
- Operate a yard truck to move and/or stage trailers for shipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate/degree from college or technical school with one (1) year related experience and/or training; or three (3) years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED.
- CDL-A License required.
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills - need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
- Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.
