Senior Corporate Counsel
We are looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel, who would be part of our Labor and Employment team.
- Be a trusted legal advisor on a wide range of areas, including hiring, employee relations, leaves and disability accommodation, and terminations.
- Working with and advising business clients directly, as well as providing guidance and practical solutions for various labor and employment law issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Developing an innovative approach to legal issues in support of strategic business initiatives and objectives with a high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and manage pre-litigation claims, agency charges and litigation.
- Assisting outside counsel in responding to discovery and developing defense strategies including consideration of early resolution.
- Identify legal requirements and risks and help determine how to sensibly respond to them.
Requirements:
- 5 years of labor & employment experience, including practice in a law firm.
- Must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong professionalism and skill in a team environment.
