As Director of Nursing, You Will:
- Provide nursing and administrative direction for our entire nursing services team.
- Oversee the leadership and guidance of the nursing team in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Ensure appropriate utilization of resources necessary to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments for a coordinated interdisciplinary approach.
- Coach, develop, and lead our clinical team to success.
Must Have:
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON)/Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Assistant Director of Patient Care Services (ADPCS), or RN Case Manager required.
- 3-5 years of experience in a nursing supervisory role, providing direct care to multiple patients, with Long Term Care (LTC), home health, or hospice experience being ideal.
- Graduate of an approved RN program.
- Knowledgeable in nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to hospice.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Advanced education in principles of management and geriatrics or DON certification.
- Leadership principles expertise.
