Job Description Summary
Independently creates and files product forms across multiple business units. Applies new product concepts to the filing process. Images and indexes product approval files.Job Description
Responsibilities
- Performs research and analysis to determine solutions.
- Effectively communicates with other business units, departments and staff to meet required service level standards in relationship to product development.
- Basic ability to understand and assist in the development of policy language, application forms, riders, amendatory endorsements, and other regulated forms.
- Understands filing procedures to successfully submit annuity, life, health and/or P&C product forms and/or sales materials with the State Insurance Departments.
- Files products with the states for approval (SERFF or paper filings).
- Works independently with guidance from State Filing Analyst II, Senior Filing Analyst and/or Assistant Manager.
- Innovative involvement in all processes of a filing from start to finish.
- Basic ability to analyze state laws and regulations and apply knowledge independently in less complex lines of insurance.
- Assists in implementing new processes that will allow the team to function more efficiently.
- Provides timely and accurate responses to issues/objections related to product features and product form disclosures to the State Insurance Departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 1 years industry/regulatory experience with an emphasis on product knowledge is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of annuity, life, health and/or P&C products is helpful.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with some supervision.
- Effective use of time management.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Compensation:
The salary for this position generally ranges between $34,500 - $52,500. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 6%
