What are the responsibilities and job description for the RF Technician position at Transcat, Inc.?
This technicians will have the ability to calibrate higher-level equipment and calibrate equipment across a minimum of three disciplines (or have an expert level of knowledge/calibration experience in one to two disciplines).

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

- Genuine interest in RF and Electrical metrology, in order to become an expert.
- Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers, signal generators and attenuators
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multi-meters, thermometers is an asset
- Good repair and troubleshooting skills
- Willing to perform extensive calibrations at customer sites
Education and Experience:
College or university degree in electronics, telecommunications, industrial electronics or equivalent
