Overview

The Private Events Director at Transcend Leadership Center is responsible for marketing, managing and executing high-level corporate events, executive meetings, and leadership retreats. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong client-service mindset. The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with corporate clients, ensure seamless event execution, and drive revenue growth through private event bookings.

This is currently a part-time, hourly position with performance-based incentives.

Duties

Marketing & Business Development

  • Proactively generate leads through research, networking, and cold calling corporate clients, executive teams, and event planners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase event bookings.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and website requests, providing tailored information to convert leads into bookings.
  • Conduct venue tours, consultations, and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the venue’s luxury amenities and services.
  • Customize event proposals and contracts to align with client needs and business objectives.
  • Close contracts with corporate decision-makers, ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive venues, corporate event trends, and corporate client needs to position Transcend Leadership Center as the premier choice.
  • Analyze data from past bookings and market research to optimize business development efforts.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, providing white-glove service from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with corporate clients, C-level executives, executive assistants, and event planners to drive repeat business.
  • Meet and greet clients upon arrival for site tours and booked events, ensuring a premium experience.
  • Follow up post-event to gather feedback, nurture relationships, and encourage long-term partnerships.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Work closely with clients to understand objectives, ensuring an exceptional experience.
  • Manage on-site coordination during events, ensuring professionalism, efficiency, and flawless execution.
  • Troubleshoot any challenges to uphold the premium event experience expected at Transcend Leadership Center.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Ensure all vendors and partners meet Transcend Leadership Center’s quality standards.

Budget & Revenue Management

  • Track and manage event revenue and expenses, ensuring events are profitable and cost-effective.
  • Develop event pricing strategies and packages to maximize revenue potential.
  • Provide reports and insights on event performance and sales growth.

Experience

  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Proven experience in corporate event management, hospitality, event sales or related field is essential.
  • Strong background in catering and event planning, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of AV technology and meeting room setups preferred.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Familiarity with event marketing strategies to enhance visibility and bookings.
