Job Description
The Bilingual Recruiter plays a crucial role in our talent acquisition strategy by identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates for our diverse workforce. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to effectively communicate with candidates in both English and Spanish. The Bilingual Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, develop sourcing strategies, and build relationships with candidates while ensuring compliance with hiring policies and labor laws.
Job Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates in both English and Spanish for various positions within the company
- Maintain and organize candidate documentation, including applications, assessments, and interview feedback
- Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified bilingual candidates
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create accurate job descriptions
- Conduct thorough background checks and reference verifications for potential employees
- Manage the onboarding process, including paperwork, training coordination, and orientation
- Track recruiting metrics and maintain an updated candidate database in the applicant tracking system
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and community outreach programs to promote employment opportunities
- Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and professional networks to establish talent pipelines
- Stay informed about labor market trends, competitive compensation packages, and effective recruiting practices
Requirements
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (required)
- Valid Driver's License for occasional travel to recruitment events (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
- Experience with social media recruiting and digital sourcing strategies (a plus)
- 2-5 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a talent for building relationships
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring teams
Physical Requirements
- Capable of extended periods of computer use and occasional travel to recruitment locations
