Position: Associate Wealth Advisor
Location: Newburyport, MA; remote/hybrid
Status: Full-time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30 am ET – 4:00 pm ET
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000, based on experience

In your new role, you can expect to:
- Deliver advice developed by, or in collaboration with, the lead advisor
- Respond to client inquiries and requests
- Provide planning and research support
- Work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities
- Attend client meetings, document, follow up, and correspond with clients
- Participate in planning meetings and assist in developing planning strategies
- Create and update financial plans
- Process service requests, open accounts, place trades and money movements
- Correspond with clients, their family members, and prospects
- Produce client deliverables in a timely, accurate, and informative manner
- Continuously maintain client relationships, understanding their unique circumstances, connections, and interests
- Stay current on trends and regulations within the financial planning arena
- Continually strive to do the right thing the right way
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three years of experience in a planning role; five years in the industry
- Series 7 and insurance license
- CFP designation, or the willingness to obtain over time
- Ability to perform under pressure and multitask
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Analytical and numbers focused
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Confidence and adaptability
- Drive to help clients and co-workers
- Professionalism
- Strong computer skills: experience in MGP and Commonwealth CRM a plus
