TransCore (TCI), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time, on-site Project Coordinator to join our team in Tampa, Florida. Please note that this position is not remote and requires on-site presence.
Job Summary: The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager in performing administrative support activities and direct the coordination of technical staff responsible for installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained. Schedule personnel in day-to-day activities. Maintains communication with management and technicians in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the attention of appropriate personnel. Responsible for identifying the right individuals to work on specific projects, providing necessary training and development, and assessing their performance to ensure efficient operation of maintenance functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support the Project Manager with organizational and administrative tasks.
- Prepare and Compose routine correspondence and reports.
- Assist with monitoring project expenses, budget performance, and invoice development.
- Manage team schedules, assignments and communications.
- Monitor and report performance of field support personnel.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training field support personnel
- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate maintenance progress.
- Assist with inventory and device tracking processes for department equipment.
- Communicate and coordinate with outside agencies as necessary.
