What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Clerk position at Transdev?
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Assist with the preparation of client billings and the extensive related support documentation, including all exhibits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all invoices are posted and cash receipts are applied properly
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Requirements:
- Associates degree in accounting plus 2-3 years of related experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- High level of accuracy and efficiency
- Preferred experience with government constructions contracts
