What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proposal Coordinator position at Transdev?
The Proposal Coordinator works with Business Development and Operations team members to create proposals that secure new business contracts or renew existing contracts to operate public transit properties throughout the U.S. The Proposal Coordinator is primarily focused on compliance for technical proposal responses, including proposal production.
- Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Key Responsibilities:
- Review Request for Proposals (RFPs) to identify deadlines, required documentation and response criteria needed to comply with all RFP requirements.
- Identify boiler plate content needed to meet RFP requirements and create draft response document.
- Complete all forms associated with the proposal.
- Work with the graphics team for creation of covers and tabs for proposals.
- Review, produce, and assemble hard copy and electronic versions of final proposals for submission to client/prospect, including confirming all compliance requirements are met, proofreading, and organizing the final layout.
- Assist with producing collateral materials for interviews.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Development team as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Experience:
- Experience with proofreading and proposal writing required.
- Experience in a fast paced, multi-project environment required.
- Experience with business development and proposal production preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have time management skills and the ability to successfully coordinate, prioritize, and meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong document organization, file, and control capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to take initiative and work on tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
- Communications Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- High school diploma, or GED required.
