The Payroll Generalist supports a high-performance, high-care culture that operates with speed and urgency in delivering outcomes. They provide a high level of support to the field operations and corporate management teams by performing detailed and process-oriented work with excellence.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Weekly processing of payroll in ADP Work Force Now (WFN).
• Respond to payroll questions from employees and managers.
• Track SUI rates to ensure all employees are taxed correctly.
• Prepare and submit 401k Teamster report weekly.
• Respond and assist with government reporting.
• Manage and process PTO for non-union employees.
• Understand and process the various types of garnishments.
• Process union reports including dues, pension, welfare.
• Process unemployment claims.
• Record and maintain employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance and termination date and reason.
• Assist with the implementation and training of new HR procedures.
• React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

Payroll Specialist Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• 3 years of payroll experience
• ADP Workforce Now payroll software REQUIRED
• Provenexperience pertaining to administration of union benefits
