Escrow Intern
Transfer Title Agency, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Escrow Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the real estate escrow process and learn from experienced professionals. Responsibilities:
- Document Processing: Assist in the preparation, organization, and distribution of escrow documents, including but not limited to, purchase agreements, loan documents, and title reports.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter and maintain data in escrow software and physical files.
- Communication: Assist in communicating with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction via phone, email, and in person.
- File Management: Assist in maintaining and organizing escrow files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and efficiently.
- Transaction Support: Assist escrow officers with various tasks related to the closing process, such as preparing closing statements and disbursement checks.
- Research and Information Gathering: Conduct research on property information, tax records, and other relevant documents.
- General Office Duties: Assist with general office tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
- Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities to expand knowledge of escrow procedures and regulations.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program, preferably in business, real estate, finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team at our office.
- Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
- Interest in the real estate industry.
- Reliable and punctual.
