Escrow Intern

Transfer Title Agency, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Escrow Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the real estate escrow process and learn from experienced professionals. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a keen interest in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities :

Document Processing : Assist in the preparation, organization, and distribution of escrow documents, including but not limited to, purchase agreements, loan documents, and title reports.
Data Entry and Record Keeping : Accurately enter and maintain data in escrow software and physical files.
Communication : Assist in communicating with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction via phone, email, and in person.
File Management : Assist in maintaining and organizing escrow files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and efficiently.
Transaction Support : Assist escrow officers with various tasks related to the closing process, such as preparing closing statements and disbursement checks.
Research and Information Gathering : Conduct research on property information, tax records, and other relevant documents.
General Office Duties : Assist with general office tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Learning and Development : Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities to expand knowledge of escrow procedures and regulations.
Compliance : Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service to all clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program, preferably in business, real estate, finance, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team at our office.

Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.

Interest in the real estate industry.

Reliable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous experience in an office environment.

Basic understanding of real estate terminology.
