Position Overview:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for processes and procedures used in freight forwarding activities, while operating within a team to coordinate, process, and manage all logistics related to our outgoing business flows from our varies production facilities and 3rd party warehouses. Ensuring timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Operations Department.
Job Description:
- Monitoring and planning shipments, deliveries, and schedules to support customer satisfaction and project operations
- Maintaining accurate logs, spreadsheets, and reports of all transportation and goods
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods
- Coordinating shipping activities with customs officials to ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Expediting shipments via airfreight or other modes as needed
- Collaborating with transportation systems for prompt pick-ups.
- Monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes.
- Managing workflow and production schedules.
- Ensuring smooth transfer of goods from point A to point B.
- Tracking shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Optimizing operations to meet customers' demands.

Education and Experience:
- Freight industry experience 2 years (preferred)
- Experience in freight forwarding operations processes and procedures.
- Experience of bonded freight and cargo
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000 to $65,000 Per Annum
