Location and Work
This position is available remotely, or hybrid at either our Emerald Isle, NC, or Independence, OH offices, with a preference for those available for work during Eastern Time zone hours.

About the Position and Our Team
TransImpact is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead our Presentation and UI platform strategy. Principal Software Engineers are hands-on contributors that have full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating strategies for their domain of expertise across the entire Product Development organization. They plan and develop solutions concerned with unique and abstract opportunities which have an important impact on highly visible, strategic initiatives. Principal Software Engineers are delegated responsibility for exploring, defining, and selecting solutions during development of novel concepts and unique areas of need for the platform. They are organization-wide mentors and governance chiefs for their area of specialty, coordinating important programs for the organization in advancing platform capabilities. Principal Software Engineers act as staff specialists, serving as the foremost domain experts for their associated fields via the application of advanced theory, concepts, principles, and processes. They keep abreast of new methods and developments within their domain, while ensuring that they maintain their effectiveness when used in the organization, through the constant development and refinement of platform standards.
