Staff Accountant – Direct Hire | San Diego

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will contribute to the organization's financial health and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Accuracy & Compliance :
- Assist with month-end closing activities and review financial statements.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, credit card statements, and other financial accounts monthly.
- Conduct account analysis and ensure proper ledger balances.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Support internal and external audit processes and ensure financial records are accurate and complete.

What We’re Looking For :
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
Experience with account reconciliations, financial analysis, and month-end close
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
