A nonprofit organization, TSI is seeking empathetic and optimistic professionals to assist those with mental illness and/or substance use disorders to achieve recovery. Individuals are given the opportunity to acquire the skills and confidence necessary for independent living. Provides on-site support and supervision to residents in a group home or apartment building setting. Provides instruction with budgeting, community utilization, socialization, use of leisure time and activities of daily living. Provides trauma-informed crisis management and intervention resulting in positive outcomes. Ability to engage group of residents with mental illness and build supportive relationships.
Qualifications
Must possess 1 of 3.
- Bachelor's level education or higher with 2 years' of paid experience in Health or Human Services
- Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) or Associate's Degree in Human Services, plus a year of paid experience in Health and Human Services
- High school diploma, plus 3 years' paid Health and Human Services experience.
Must possess valid driver's license, pass required background checks, including drug screen.
