Human Resources Generalist / Payroll Job Highlights:
- Coordinates and performs recruitment activities, interviews and evaluates candidates for selected positions and maintains related records.
- Conducts exit interviews with separating employees and shares pertinent information with management.
- Maintains confidential information while providing services to all employees and applicants.
- Manages the FMLA process and paperwork to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state legislation.
- Manages Worker’s Compensation program to include claims management, risk management and related safety programs. Prepares injury reports to submit to insurance carrier for processing.
- Monitors the tracking of OSHA required data.
- Participates in the new hire orientation process to ensure all new hire paperwork is completed within the established regulations.
- Effectively deals with employee relations issues and provides oversight in conflict resolution.
- Updates/maintains all personnel and medical files for employees.
- Monitors and advises managers/supervisors in the progressive disciplinary system of the company.
Human Resources Generalist / Payroll Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in accounting, Human Resources, or another business-related field.
- Minimum 1 year of Payroll and HR experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
