We are searching for a Project Sales Engineer to join our team that combines industrial engineering knowledge with sales expertise to manage complex projects, quotes, and purchase orders.
Preferred candidates will have a background in power transmission products.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- MET or Engineering degree highly preferred.
Essential functions and Skills:
- Answers incoming phone calls, fax, e-mails, web-based inquiries, and determines through deductive reasoning if we can quote/supply what the customer wants.
- Works closely with customers and suppliers on new or existing projects to specify products and provide solutions.
- Enters quotes and orders into the computer system and prints picking tickets/shippers, as well as work orders when applicable.
- Performs superficial purchasing functions through the drop ship portion of our computer system.
- Performs basic item maintenance/item set-up in the computer system.
- Presents work orders/delivery/production requirements to the production planner
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at a time.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence, quote requests, blueprints, and other memos. Ability to convey information in a professional manner over the phone, fax, e-mail, or web.
- Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percentages, calculate ratios, interchange fractions & decimal equivalents freely, and perform other simple calculations.
- Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense/empirical information to customer requests, which lead to quoting and customer orders.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Salary : $4,900
