Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fireplace Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our fireplace department's daily activates including sales, installation and repairs. Your primary responsibility is working with and coordinating the installation of manufactured fireplaces into both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate has experience in general construction methods and possesses a problem solving/customer focused mentality.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the fireplace construction project
• Collaborate with builders and customers on-site or in the showroom to "realize" project
• Coordinate with builders and superintendents to schedule fireplace installations
• Manage installation crew and repair technician schedules
• Develop job specific material and labor quotes
• Estimate costs and keep the project within budget
• Report on progress
• Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise
• Utilize inventory/ERP system to create quotes and manage stock inventory levels

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project/Construction Manager
• General understanding of construction management methods and processes
• General knowledge of construction methods, building products, and specific building codes
• Computer software competence ie. Microsoft word and Excel
• Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
