What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiscal Manager position at TransNet?
The Fiscal Manager is responsible for managing the financial functions of TransNet, including processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry into the General Ledger, reviewing and reporting on monthly trip data, processing monthly transportation partner bills, and preparing monthly agency bills.
Specific duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Accounts Payable
- Data entry – daily
- Process payments via check, ACH, or online
- Ongoing data analysis of trips
- Data corrections
- Monthly analysis and clean-up billing data
- Communication with transportation partners regarding billing
- Preparation of monthly partner bills
- Queries and reporting in Access
- Preparation and submission of monthly agency bills
- Accounts Receivable
- Banking and Cash Management
- Fixed Assets
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Invoice Preparation
- Fuel purchases and analysis, including Pennsylvania and Federal fuel tax rebate submission
- Monthly and Quarterly reporting of General Ledger totals
- Following and applying fiscal controls and procedures using generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Maintaining ongoing communication with the Fiscal Director with regard to financial information and reporting
- Other related duties as assigned

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
