Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Real Estate Asset Manager. Reporting directly to Company principals you'll play a pivotal role in managing our diverse portfolio of multi-family residential investments and oversee reporting to Transom partners and investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Plan Implementation: Collaborate with ownership and partners to ensure successful implementation and periodic evaluation of the asset-specific business plans
- Reporting: Prepare and assist with financial reporting to institutional equity partners and lenders
- Analysis of existing loan covenants and evaluations of hold/sell/refinance decisions
- Lease Up: Oversee leasing teams to drive the lease-up process for vacant units/spaces, from marketing and prospecting to negotiation and lease execution, to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Lease Administration: Handle lease administration for our portfolio of buildings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all lease-related activities.
- Financial Analysis: Collaborate with the finance and accounting team to analyze financial performance, develop budgets, track actual expenses to budget, and optimize the financial outcomes of our properties.
- Oversee Property Management to ensure highest quality of operations and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance, tenant satisfaction, and asset preservation.
- Marketing and Branding: Assist with branding and marketing of each asset, working closely with marketing teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate asset management, property management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate leasing principles, property management practices, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in real estate management software, Juniper Square (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
