We are seeking a professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee the organization’s operations while assisting the President.
A qualified candidate will possess the following skills and attributes :
Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Self-starting and solution-oriented
Ability to coordinate the most efficient and timely outcomes and assign tasks accordingly, including both design and production divisions
Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers, project owners, and vendors
Proficiency with MS 365 and MS Project or similar Critical Path software
Marine or Commercial construction background preferred
Above average mechanical and spatial abilities. CAD experience not required, but a plus
BA in Construction Management or Business desired, but not required
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Contract management and conformance
Design and production scheduling
- Coordination / integration of design work between engineers and design technicians
- Manage information flow with CEO / project owners / contractors / owner’s agents
- Preparation and submittal of design packages
- Coordinate quality control program
Schedule and coordination of site work, including travel planning
