Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is looking for a Parts Clerk to join our fleet service shop in Gordonsville, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive or heavy duty truck parts. Dealership experience is preferred but not required.

Licenses/Certificates:
- Maintenance of an unrestricted driver’s license
- Successful completion of a fork lift certification course
Job Requirements & Qualifications:

- Ability to work overtime when busy
- Ability to travel for training
- Willingness and ability to work with others and be a team player
- Ability to follow safety standards
- The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Completion of a high school education or equivalent
- Must hold a clean and valid driver’s license
Job Responsibilities:
- Order parts from proper preferred vendors
- Generate POs and ensure original invoices are received in a timely manner
- Check in stock, check order for accuracy and stock shelves
- Create and manage bin locations
- Set up min/max stock levels and proper inventory levels
- Cycle count and full inventory
- Assists technicians with parts needed
- Answers incoming calls
- Picking up parts from vendors
- Keep a neat and organized Parts Dept., as well as storage trailers
- Check for best available pricing of parts needed without sacrifice of quality
- Ensures proper coding for parts
- Manage slow moving parts
- Operates a forklift to load and unload parts
- Hold all warranty parts for proper manufacture time frame and dispose when expired
- Maintains confidentiality of all company information
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
