Transport Refrigeration, Inc., your local Thermo King dealer in Oak Creek, WI, seeks an outgoing and motivated sales professional to join our team. As a Sales & Technician Support Specialist, you will be the face of our company, responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships while driving sales in your designated territory. You will manage a route, deliver products, take orders, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have sales experience in a dealership, trucking industry, auto parts, or heavy-duty equipment setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains an established sales route
- Makes regular cold calls to expand the customer base
- Operates company truck safely and in compliance with traffic laws
- Represents Transport Refrigeration, Inc. at local trade shows
- Sells refrigeration parts and other product lines
- Inputs counter invoicing and quote information, completing route reports promptly
- Assists customers at the parts counter and over the phone with orders
- Checks stock and restocks shelves as needed
- Operates a forklift to load and unload trailers
- Answers incoming calls and routes them to the appropriate associate
- Distributes parts to technicians and records on repair orders when necessary
- Delivers and picks up parts for customers and vendors
- Assembles A/C hoses and builds A/C kits
- Constructs custom products or parts for customers or OEMs
- Boxes parts for shipment and prints shipping labels
- Assists with inventory control processes
- Helps with physical inventory counts
- Maintains confidentiality of all company information
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications and Qualifications:
- Completion of a high school education, relevant vocational training, or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal communication skills for both one-on-one interactions and phone conversations.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Exhibits a considerate and respectful attitude toward both internal and external customers.
- Highly motivated to complete tasks and achieve goals.
- Ability to travel for training purposes.
- Willingness and capability to work collaboratively as a team player.
- Adheres to established safety standards.
- Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Successful completion of a forklift certification course is preferred.
- Proven ability to use email, particularly Microsoft Outlook.
- Quick learner with the ability to operate proprietary software systems.
- Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculating percentages and fractions.
- Capable of writing clearly and informatively in typical business scenarios.
- Ability to obtain professional certifications required for the position.
- Must be able to drive in all weather conditions.
