Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure job descriptions are accurate.
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics.
- Extend job offers and coordinate the onboarding process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Foster relationships with potential candidates and build a strong talent pipeline.
- Support a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment process and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to recruitment and hiring.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Prolonged periods sitting performing desk work
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted at times
- Overnight travel may be required at times
