We are growing! We need a driver who lives in or within 10-15 miles of Ontario, OR to transport our clients to and from their medical appointments.

ABOUT THIS POSITION
Job Type: Full-time
Pay to Start: $17.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Expected hours: 30-40 hours per week, hours vary from day to day.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday. Varying schedule and hours.
- Able to be on-call 1 or 2 Saturdays a month for a handful of client appointments.
This is not a 9-5 job, and a majority of rides may start as early as 4A on most days. We do try to have you home in time for dinner.
You work from home! We pay you for any training required to do the job. Most of your training will be done online. We provide you a daily schedule of rides, a company van to do them in and fuel to get going!
The ideal candidate can stay calm driving in inclement weather, has good geographical knowledge or at least able to find their way using navigation programs such as Google Maps or Mapquest.
Drivers may need to drive up to 10 hours on some days, long distance to various outlying cities - including Wallowa, OR, Baker City, OR, Pendleton, OR and sometimes to Portland, OR.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Clean driving record or at least no more than 1 moving violation in last 5 years.
No more than 1 major violation such as DUI's, at-fault accidents within the last 10 years.
At least 8 years personal driving experience, with a valid driver's license OR if under 8 years of driving experience, must have worked in jobs that mainly required driving.
Able to pass county, state, nationwide criminal background check.
Able to pass a 10-panel drug test and alcohol breathalyzer test at pre-employment and at random.
At least 5-years of customer service or caregiving experience preferred.

We have been in business for over 20 years and have fantastic drivers who cater to medical clients all over Oregon, Washington and Idaho. We are a small, family-owned business that prides ourselves on providing quality, reliable transportation to clients – getting them to and from their medical appointments. JOB DUTIES/SKILLS
- Perform a daily inspection of company vehicle
- Keep vehicle clean and take vehicles to proper shops for required maintenance - i.e. tire rotations, oil changes etc.
- Knowledgeable with Google Maps, operate Android tablet to manage rides.
- Assist wheelchair clients - pushing them up wheelchair ramp, properly loading and securing them into the van.
- Able to drive in inclement weather if necessary - rain, snow, sleet etc.
- Operate smartphone to check company email and communicate with clients and dispatchers.
- Drive in a safe manner, utilizing defensive driving training, to take clients to their appointments on time.
OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Possess previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring, and timely manner.
Have a great work history with a track record of being a reliable responsible individual.
Previously certified in Basic Adult & Child First Aid & CPR and Defensive Driving, preferred but not required.
