Reports To: President of Cryogenic Technology Resources

Job Summary

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical background in cryogenics and manufacturing equipment, as well as a passion for sales and customer relations.

Job Description

  • Responsible for driving sales, managing existing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in the cryogenic sector
  • Identify and target new sales opportunities in the cryogenic and manufacturing sectors.
  • Develop relationships with key personnel in various industries.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to customers, providing consultations and tailored solutions.
  • Manage and nurture long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, including lead generation, customer presentations, quotes, and proposals.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals, and provide regular sales activity reports to the management team.
  • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract terms with customers.

Competencies

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the cryogenic or manufacturing equipment industry.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or related fields.
  • Solid understanding of cryogenic systems and equipment, as well as experience in the B2B sales environment
  • Strong understanding of cryogenic systems, equipment, and applications (liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, cryogenic storage, etc.).
  • Certifications in cryogenics or sales-related qualifications are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently for client visits, trade shows, and business development activities.
  • Experience in selling industrial or capital equipment. Depth of experience is important.
  • Previous exposure to cryogenics or related technical sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management.

Education

No college degree is required, but it is preferred.
