Position Description :
Transwall Office Systems, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of moveable floor-to-ceiling and architectural wall systems, is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our Metal Shop team. The Machinist will set up and operate machining centers to support production operations requiring precise tolerances.
Key Responsibilities :
- Program, set up, edit, and operate CNC equipment
- Operate lift trucks and overhead cranes
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications to determine fabrication methods
- Select appropriate materials and extrusions according to specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure conformance to specifications
- Identify and report material defects
- Perform routine maintenance of equipment
- Suggest process improvements
- Execute additional duties as assigned
