Safety Coordinator
Winnemucca, NV
The schedule is generally M-F with periodic travel.
Job Duties:
- Review Samsara metrics and camera events.
- Provide targeted direction for the Terminal Manager to coach drivers.
- Provide on-site training for offload procedures
- Travel to mine sites and audit driver unloads
- Road test new driver applicants
- Contribute to quarterly safety meetings
- Travel to and provide quarterly refresher training in Brawley, CA and Cheyenne, WY
- Assist Terminal Manager with spot equipment and driver inspections
- Become a subject matter expert on all commodities handled at the terminals
- Accident/Incident investigation and reporting
Qualifications:
- Obtain and hold MSHA certification
- CDL license or ability to obtain a CDL license with tank and hazmat endorsement
- Railroad transload exp preferred
- Good safety record and employment history
