Registered Nurse in Emergency Department
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in the Emergency Department at Transylvania Regional Hospital.

Our Emergency Department is a critical access hospital unit located in Brevard, North Carolina. We feature a 16-bed unit, including 4 vertical chairs and 4 regular treatment rooms that can be converted into behavioral health rooms.

Job Summary and Qualifications:
Provides leadership to facilitate professional nursing care for patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN program within 5 years of hire date.
- PREFERRED: Masters in Nursing.
- Must maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
- PREFERRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: National Certification in area of specialty.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One year hospital nursing experience.
