What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Master / Actor position at Trapped! Escape Room?
Game Master
As a Game Master you will be the main facilitator for our guests and game participants. You will be the main representative of our business, greeting the customers and giving them important information in a fun yet professional manner. After the game begins you will aid the group as they make their way through the puzzles giving appropriate and accurate hints so the groups can find their way to their escape. Once their time is up you will have to enter the room, congratulate them for what they have accomplished, and give specific details on what the people accomplished. Then offer to explain any of the puzzles they didn't complete or wanted a refresher on and take a picture of their group for our social media. After they leave you will then reset the room for the next group paying close attention to detail to ensure everything is set up properly for the next group.
Must have availability every Saturday, either Firday and/or Sunday and a minimum of one other day.
Acting is required for the position. Previous acting experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Must be 18 to apply.
About Trapped! Escape Room:
An immersive challenge of logic, creativity and teamwork. You have one hour to search the room, solve the puzzles, and escape/complete the task for the scenario. This is an intense, immersive experience for a team of players. A 60 minute challenge of logic, creativity and teamwork. Search for clues, solve the puzzles, race against time. Will you escape or will you remain Trapped?
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
