Job Description: Trash Taxi of Georgia is looking for a professional and experienced inside sales administrative support member for our commercial business working out of the Austell, GA location. This position will provide inside sales administrative support for the day-to-day operations of Frontload and Rolloff, provide service information to customers, report service issues for resolution, and perform accounting and data entry, commercial sales, and retention tasks. This role requires a proactive and results-orientated individual who can work independently to meet sales targets, provide exceptional customer service, and positively represent the company’s values.
Job Duties:
- Multi-tasks to balance multiple items such as high volume of incoming calls, daily work, and priority items.
- Attracts potential customers by answering billing and commercial service questions and providing accurate information about future services.
- Strives to finalize sales and offer solutions to customers.
- Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording or updating account information.
- Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments, payments, and invoicing.
- Negotiate price increases and support customer retention activities.
- Facilitate service agreement renewal process.
- Maintain a list of local public bids to track contract ending and renewal dates for opportunities.
- Resolve billing and collection issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
- Able to deal with frequent changes in the work environment throughout company expansion.
- Support new commercial customer onboarding activities, including account signup, creation, service agreements, and payment processing.
- Work with customers to make service changes to accounts, including increases/decreases in container size, frequency, rates, etc…
- Contributes to team effort by completing administrative tasks as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience with administrative functions in commercial waste administration including sales, billing, and customer service.
- Proven inside sales experience, preferably in a B2B sales environment.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Window’s based proficiency, complex data entry
- Experience with billing accounts receivable
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen
- Able to work in the office location in Austell, GA
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 or more years working in sales/administration/customer service for the solid waste industry.
- Experience with solid waste hauling software
- Bi-lingual (Spanish)
