We have an immediate opening for a professional team member who is friendly, reliable and energetic with a drive for continued learning. We are willing to train if you have exceptional customer service skills and are looking to stay long term. Pay is commiserate with experience. Benefits such as paid time off, Holiday pay, retirement account and health insurance available. Office is open Monday through Thursday with week averaging 33 hours. Additional hours available when fully trained
Position Summary: The job consists of a variety of reception, secretarial, insurance and data entry duties for the dental office. Responsible for primary patient contact maintaining a stress-free, comfortable environment. Ensures compliance with all HIPPA regulations to provide protection for patient’s privacy. Promotes a safe, pleasant atmosphere for patients and those waiting in the reception area.
Primary Duties:
- Patient customer service
- Answer phones and texts
- Maintain a productive Schedule
- Confirm appointments
- Greet patients
- Check treatment notes and confirm that all appropriate information is included
- Input patient data and charges into computer
- Review charges with patient and collect payments
- Maintain patient charts and lab cases
- Keep reception and office area neat and organized
- Provide effective buffer for doctors from unnecessary interruptions
- Obtain insurance information
- Obtain needed x-rays and other relevant information on new patients
- Coordinate patient finances
