Traub Lieberman is a national law firm with more than 90 attorneys in offices across the United States.
We are seeking a dynamic, professional, highly skilled legal administrative assistant to participate in all phases of litigation, preferably with a background in first-party property. You will be an integral part of an exceptional litigation team. The ideal candidate should be a well-organized self-starter who is able to manage a high volume of work with accuracy.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Type/edit/prepare general correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, stipulation and various other complex legal documents
- Electronic filing in both State and Federal Courts
- Enter and track calendar deadlines
- Proofread documents and check for appropriate formatting, spelling, and grammar
- Perform conflict checks and file creation paperwork
- Organize and maintain electronic file documents
- Arrange hearings, depositions, CMEs, meetings and conferences
- Calendaring of miscellaneous deadlines, trial orders, etc.
- Follow-up on delegated assignments
- Attorney expense entry
- Process vendor invoices
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
Skills and qualifications needed
- High school diploma
- Prior Legal Secretarial Experience
- 2 years litigation experience (preferably first-party property/insurance defense)
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of Florida’s ePortal system, judicial scheduling procedures and Federal ECF
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Strong adaptability, multitasking abilities, and effective time management skills to perform well under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Worldox, Chrome River, Aderant experience a plus or alternatively, familiarity with a billing and case management system
- Type 60 to 80 words per minute
