We are currently searching for a hospitality-driven Event Coordinator/ Floor Supervisor for I.E. by Travail.
Ideal candidates have open availability and at least 2 years of previous restaurant experience.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

As the Event Coordinator at I.E. by Travail, you are responsible for the planning and execution of private dining/ events. Additionally, you will also be responsible for facilitating a successful service by acting as Floor Supervisor when events are not actively in service. This position reports directly to the General Manager, with direction from the Event Sales Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Review private dining contracts/ BEOS with General Manager and Event Sales Manager
- Conduct on and off-site tours with potential guests
- Plan private dining events per guest contract specifications, partnering with multiple Travail Collective departments to ensure guest satisfaction is exceeded
- Play an active role in the execution and service of group events from setup to finish
- Act as the point-of-contact during service for booked groups of 12 or more, buyouts and for off-site events
- Ensure proper scheduling of all private events (servers, WAHS, bartenders, etc)
- Responsible for gathering guest payment at the end of the event, when required
- Attend and participate in weekly food/ beverage and BEO meetings
- Maintain open communication with other departments to ensure all group dining information is disseminated and all needed information is gathered in a timely manner
- Provide a professional and polished experience when interacting with clients
- Knowledge of menu items for both food and beverage
- Update calendars with event information
- Maintain steps of service set by the Travail Collective and implement changes as necessary
- Identify guest needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
- Ensure FOH team is prepared for service and provide floor presence and support
- Maintain a sense of urgency during and after service
- Engage with guests in a friendly, inviting manner consistent with Travail Collective’s mission, vision, and core values
- Work with the leadership team to motivate/elevate staff as a unit
- Attend all pertinent Travail Collective meetings, training opportunities, staff meetings, etc.
- Create and maintain a positive and communicative relationship with coworkers
- Foster an open door policy with all staff and leaders at Travail Collective
- Represent and maintain culture standards of Travail Collective inside and outside of the restaurants within our company
- Understand and stay up to date with what is happening within all Travail Collective restaurants
- Be flexible in an ever-changing environment
