What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender- Nouvelle Brewery position at Travail Kitchen and Amusements?
We are looking for a part-time bartender with strong beer knowledge for our Brewery, located in downtown Robbinsdale. Must have daytime and weekend availability.
Pay: $15 an hour plus tips
Schedule: Part-time, working a variety of days and shifts
Responsibilities
- Guest guests coming into the restaurant
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve beer and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Maintain clean bar area, following opening or closing duties as needed
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Act with urgency as part of a team
- Assist with front of house duties (running food, bussing, etc)
- Participate in staff trainings and any pertinent meetings
- Create and maintain a positive and communicative relationship with coworkers and leaders
- Adhere to hygiene, uniform and professionalism standards
- Maintain an Open-door policy with Travail Collective leadership and speak up if you need to say something
- Represent and maintain culture standards of Travail Collective inside and outside of the restaurants within our company
Skills
- Previous experience as a bartender
- Beer knowledge a plus
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
