Dream Creamery by Travail is looking for outgoing, hospitality-minded Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team!
Employees must be at least 16 years old.
Ice Cream Scooper duties include greeting guests, taking guest food and ice cream orders, ringing up orders, delivering food and drinks to guests, collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, and maintaining cleanliness around the restaurant.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $16.00 per hour plus tips
Responsibilities
· Open the restaurant to prepare for business
· Set up ice cream station, tables and garbages for service
· Greet guests
· Take guest orders
· Ring up orders in the POS system
· Scoop ice cream and make shakes and malts
· Deliver food, ice cream and drinks to guests
· Bus tables
· General cleaning and restocking
· Clean and organize station during shift
· End of night closing and cleaning duties
Skills
· Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
· Outgoing, friendly demeanor
· Previous restaurant experience preferred
· Take initiative to get work done in a fast-paced environment
· Time management skills
· Attention to detail and sanitation rules
· Ability to work well in a team
· Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
· High school diploma is a plus
Physical Demands
· Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
· Must be able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, sit
· Must be able to walk stairs and climb step ladders
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally or and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently
