We are currently searching for experienced Hosts/ Front Desk team members for Italian Eatery by Travail.

Who We Seek
As an important contributor to the business and team, we are looking for an experienced, dedicated, energetic, and authentic individual who is passionate about hospitality and guest service, has a keen eye for detail and has excellent time management and communication skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 restaurant experience
- Prior hosting, Maitre D, hotel front desk, or guest service experience
- Effective communication, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Superior time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks for efficient service and smooth operations
- Technology proficient
- Excellent eye for details and aesthetics
What You'll Be Doing
- Greet guests in a friendly manner and assist in answering any immediate questions about the restaurant
- Check guests in for their reservations and provide direction for next steps
- Assist guests with to-go orders
- Answer all phone calls during service
- Assist with dining room set up or cleaning tables as needed
- Clean and organize the entrance area and surrounding areas before and during service
- Print all daily menus (as needed)
- Communicate with bar team and Sous Chefs about any menu changes and correctly format into existing menus
- Communicate with serving and front desk team regarding wait times, open tables

Physical Demands
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods at a time
