POSITION SUMMARY


TraVek, Remodeling & Roofing is an award winning, growth oriented, design build remodeling and roofing company, seeking a dynamic and results-driven Remodeling & Roofing Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and grow our sales team with high-performing sales reps to meet or exceed company targets. This is a key leadership role with tremendous growth potential, offering the opportunity to be part of an impactful journey as we continue to expand our Roofing operations while driving increased performance in our Remodeling operations. 


A hands-on tactical role that is responsible for meeting revenue targets by developing and implementing strategic sales plan/s, recruiting and mentoring sales representatives, and building/maintaining a high-performing sales culture. The ideal candidate has a proven background in sales management in the home services/home improvement/roofing/construction industry (or something similar) and thrives in a fast-paced environment working closely with team members, guiding and nurturing them to success. The ideal candidate will be an operational, hand-on tactical sales leader, working with the team on a daily basis to help bring success to each team member, while meeting/exceeding company targets.

COMPETENCIES


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Develop, train, coach, mentor, and lead a team of Designer/Estimating Sales Representatives in the Remodeling department and a team of Roofing Sales Representatives in the Roofing department.
  • Provide regular training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets and exceeds individual, team and company sales targets.
  • Provide regular training to team members on how to build solid relationships with their existing customer base to foster the relationships that bring both repeat and referral work. 
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement strategies for individual and team growth.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and goals to ensure the Remodeling department achieves its sales target, while growing the Roofing sales to meet and exceed company targets.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive sales plan to drive growth in both the Remodeling and Roofing departments, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies effectively.
  • Oversee and refine the sales pipeline for both Remodeling and Roofing departments, ensuring high conversion rates and strong customer satisfaction.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and updates for the Remodeling and Roofing departments, ensuring alignment with overall company revenue goals.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, growth opportunities, and any challenges faced.
  • Analyze data to identify sales trends and opportunities for improvement.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, key decision-makers, and strategic alliances to drive long-term sales and repeat business.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention, to include referrals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure sales strategies align with marketing efforts to generate qualified leads and increase brand visibility.

Collaboration with Operations:

  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure accurate project scoping, pricing, and timely delivery of services.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction after the sale is closed.
  • Help ensure proper project transition from sales to execution, ensuring proper handoff and project success.

Recruitment and Team Expansion:

  • Lead the recruitment process for any new sales hires in both the Remodeling and Roofing departments to ensure the team is adequately staffed and capable of achieving sales targets.
  • Identify and recommend any necessary hires to expand the sales team based on business needs.

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Oversee sales budgets and ensure the team operates within the allocated budget, while maximizing profitability.
  • Manage expenses related to sales activities, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve financial goals.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Continuously assess and improve the sales process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including lead generation, proposal generation, and closing techniques.
  • Implement and oversee CRM usage for tracking sales opportunities, ensuring proper documentation, follow-ups, and reporting.

Market Research and Business Development:


  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, including potential customers and untapped market segments for both remodeling and roofing services.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry partners and referral networks to help increase sales opportunities.

Sales Support and Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the sales team, providing support and guidance as needed for closing deals, overcoming objections, and negotiating contracts.
  • Conduct ongoing ride-alongs, training, and coaching as necessary, nurturing the team to meeting/exceeding individual and company sales targets. 
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 


  • Experience: 5 years of experience in roofing, construction, or related sales management.
  • Proven Success: Track record of leading a growing sales team and scaling operations to achieve significant revenue growth.
  • Leadership: Strong people management skills with experience in hiring, training, and developing sales reps.
  • Sales Expertise: Deep knowledge of best practices.
  • Technology Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales reporting tools.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.


Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
