As an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Travel Nurse Across America Allied, you will have the opportunity to work on a travel assignment in Illinois. You will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures.
Key Tasks:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity
- Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and operate intravenous pumps
- Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
- State-specific licensing when required
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
