What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Manager/Director, Accounting position at Travel Staff?
Job Summary : The Sr. Manager / Director, Accounting role is a dual role, responsible for overseeing all general and staff accounting processes, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with the team, support internal business processes, and coordinate reporting and compliance efforts for the company.
This role could be solely, a Sr. Manager role (salary : $100k - $120k),
or a Director level role (salary up to $150k),
or dual Sr. Manager / Director role, handling responsibilites for both levels of accounting management (salary up to $175k), depending on experience.

Responsibilities & Tasks :
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance / accounting team
- Review, develop, and propose to President additional procedures and controls
- Create / verify account reconciliations, review statements of work orders, prepare monthly statements and budgets
- Monitor loans and cash flow for all company bank and credit accounts
- Review and maintain fixed asset schedules and compliance reports
- Coordinate and review yearly tax filings and periodic payments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of General Accounting, Finance, and Budgeting
- Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office, and standard accounting software)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in supervisory role.
- CPA certification, or 8yrs experience working in this capacity
